I sail to London lickety-split. And by sail I mean barreling through the Chunnel. And by lickety-split I mean in several hours (soon enough to make me grumble, certainly). I have absolutely nothing planned. I'm ready for cream tea! English breakfast! Fish and chips! Indian food! English gardens! Libraries! Museums! The BFI! Mostly, I'm ready to sleep, though I should probably be packing my toothbrush and q-tips.
Bon week-end!
enjoy london - get to the borough market if you can!
ReplyDeleteThat photo makes my hungry :) Have fun!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so yummi!! I really want to try it when i go ;)
ReplyDeleteThe V&A Quilts exhibition opens tomorrow and it's the London Vintage Fashion, Textiles and Accessories Fair on Sunday at Hammersmith Town Hall. Good timing! And if you've never been to Ottolenghi you must!
ReplyDeleteTake pics (of course). Be nice to see what our city looks like through your eyes. [p.s. the BFI is boring, go everywhere else first!]
ReplyDeleteah, we should grab a pint
ReplyDeletethe bfi is so worth it. A new favourite of mine is Sunday upmarket, in brick lane.
ReplyDeleteYum and I love that you have the map in the background. Very nice photo!
