Today is Leonard Cohen's birthday. If you have yet to see him in this lifetime, please, do so for your own sake. I went to see Mr. Cohen last autumn and I wouldn't trade those three rare hours for anything. If you feel for this man in any capacity, you can expect to laugh, clutch your chest, and wipe many a tear from your crying face. I would go so far as saying it was the best performance I've witnessed and one of the happiest moments of my life. That may sound dramatic, but if you know how much this man means to this world, I think you will understand.
I saw Leonard Cohen in 2009 and feel exactly the same way - absolutely amazing. I think his voice gets better and better with age.
