saturday

I try my hardest not to get attached to objects. While I generally figure you can't take it with you, it's a bit hard to remember that during serious geek-outs in the middle of the Chelsea Garage. I'd equate the feeling to watching the missing footage from Metropolis right next to the woman (Miss Paula FĂ©lix-Didier) who found Lang's full reel at the Museo del Cine in Argentina during my film preservation course sometime last September. Well, perhaps finding this herbarium (for a steal!) wasn't quite the same, but I'd reckon the fluttering in my heart was similar.
