Gloom and doom threaten to pill off of the clouds in small rumpled drops. I wouldn't mind. I dig umbrellas (mine is of the midnight blue with cream swiss dots, wooden-handled variety), warm socks, pots and pots of tea, and afternoons spent hiding under blankets with dogs. As much as I'd like to spend my afternoon inside, my pup is thousands of miles away and there are just too many good things out there to keep me in. With that said, I'm off to the movies (big surprise)!
